Charter Trips

Gather your group for an amazing experience on a world class river

Would you like a private departure of one of our flagship river rafting or packrafting programs, or a completely custom itinerary? With Boreal River Adventures your planning process will be simple and the results will be incredible.

We run Magpie River trips from 5 to 15 days. During that time, you’ll be paddling one of National Geographic’s top-10 multi day rafting rivers. Your group will also be exploring virtually untouched wilderness, pristine water and world class whitewater.

We encourage groups to add on extra time to enjoy incredible fishing and hiking, and to learn backcountry and whitewater skills from our expert guides.

Who are custom Magpie trips for?

Families and friends

We’re happy to give your family and friends the trip of a lifetime. Whether you have an active group or want to take it easy, we can accommodate paddlers of all ages and provide a perfectly paced trip.

Business trips for colleagues and/or customers

Nothing brings groups together like an adventure in pristine backcountry. If you’ve got a team or clients that you want to give the experience of a lifetime to, we can make it happen.

Researchers and media production teams

If you’re studying in the region and need support or you’re looking for that perfect shot for Planet Earth III, we’ve got you covered. We’re happy to support scientists (they are part of our Magpie River Adventure trips) and film crews.

Paddling clubs and experienced paddlers

The Magpie is a perfect multi-day trip for intermediate and advanced kayakers and canoeists. It offers tons of great whitewater, untouched wilderness, and spectacular scenery. We work with groups, paddling schools, and clubs to run smooth, fun expeditions with our experienced leaders, local knowledge, and attention to detail. Find out more
