Expedition Guide, Whitewater & Swiftwater Rescue Instructor

Addie’s adventures in white water began on the Ottawa River. Shortly after her first strokes in a kayak, she was hooked. She balanced a year-round paddling lifestyle by working as a raft guide in New Zealand during the Canadian winter and returning to the Ottawa River in the summer. Addie loves sharing her passion for whitewater with others. Whether it be a casual afternoon paddle or multi-day extravaganza, she’s always keen!

Addie owns and operates a small business making warm and fuzzy fleece tee shirts, an idea born on the Magpie River. In the future, she plans to balance whitewater awesomeness with working with BC ambulance.

• Emergency Medical Responder
• NZ class 4/5 guide license
