Expedition Guide

Niels has a longstanding passion for whitewater and wild places having started his guiding career in the early 2000’s.  Honing his skills on the mighty Ottawa River, Niels moved to B.C. plying his expedition trade on the Chilcotin and Yukon Rivers. In the winter he would head down to Central and South America to guide or work as a videographer from the comfort of his kayak. Niels now calls Ottawa home once more. He works as a registered nurse, and he’s a father who likes to get out on the river as much as he can. You will find Niels on kayarafting or Gatineau river adventures where his experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm for whitewater will be on full display. So will his world class singing voice.
